We are pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded a Silver Overall Safety Achievement Award and a No Vehicle Accidents Award from the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).

The awards, which are sponsored by CNA Financial, are part of NALP’s Safety Recognition Awards Program.

The Overall Safety Achievement Award honors those companies with high-performing safety programs that have a multi-year track record of creating and maintaining safe work environments for their employees. The LaurelRock Company received a silver achievement award by demonstrating superior performance in workplace safety and high percentages in the No Vehicle Accidents, No Injury or Illnesses and No Days Away from Work categories, and adhering to an ongoing safety program. The company was awarded the No Vehicle Accidents Award for not having any accidents amongst its fleet of 25 vehicles.

Receiving the NALP Overall Safety Achievement and No Vehicle Accidents awards further affirms The LaurelRock Company’s commitment to safety. For more than a decade, the firm has been a member of the NALP STARS Safe Company Program, the nation’s top safety program for the landscape industry. As a participating company, LaurelRock has made a pledge to excellence in safe work practices by taking an active role in promoting safety throughout the company and investigating and documenting every job-related injury, incident, or accident.

“Receiving the Safety Recognition Awards is a great honor to us because it exemplifies how seriously we take the welfare of our employees, our clients and the properties that we maintain,” said LaurelRock President Burt DeMarche. “We constantly strive to work to a high standard that ensures that every project is deployed within a safe work environment and with care and efficiency. This, along with our weekly safety tailgate talks, is a large part of our safety success story at LaurelRock.”

Since 2005, the NALP has presented The LaurelRock Company with eight additional safety recognition awards.
