"… to say that LaurelRock exceeded our expectations is an understatement! …aesthetically beautiful and practical…all elements are in harmony plus the sculpture as the focal point is a wonderful element of surprise."

Jeremy D. Ferguson

Jeremy D. Ferguson

Landscape Architect/Project Manager

Jeremy D. Ferguson started his 25-year career as a landscape architect with a high-end residential design/build company outside of Chicago. Following that, he worked for over two decades designing for the hospitality sector and creating unique outdoor spaces across the globe. His experience and expertise adds a taste of international flair to The LaurelRock Company.

Jeremy always had a strong desire to create comfortable and memorable outdoor environments that leave a lasting impression. His goal was to use his creativity to allow people to relax and enjoy their time away from home – and that inspired him to follow a career path in landscape architecture. Prior to joining LaurelRock, Jeremy designed landscapes in destinations in the U.S., Australia, Hong Kong and China. He conceptualized and designed the landscapes of leading luxury award-winning international hotels and resorts. In his role, he was responsible for notable landscape concepts and designs at destinations such as JW Marriot (China), ShangriLa Ulaanbatar Hotel (Mongolia), ShangriLa Nanjing Gulou Hotel (China) and Star Capital (China).

As LaurelRock’s Lead Landscape Architect and Project Manager, Jeremy will continue to build on his legacy of delivering the landscape design excellence that he has established over the years. Marrying his compelling portfolio of hotel experience with his extensive background in high-end residential design/build will give Jeremy a unique opportunity to cultivate outdoor residential spaces that are as livable and beautiful as they are innovative and creative.

Jeremy received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University, which is currently ranked among the top 10 in the United States by DesignIntelligence, a bimonthly publication for leaders in the design professions. He also holds a certification by the Council of Landscape Architecture Board for nearly two decades.
