With a career in finance that spans more than 30 years, Cheri brings a wealth of Fortune 500 Company experience to The LaurelRock Company. A recipient of the Xerox Corporation’s National All Star Award, that company’s highest honor, Cheri was also selected to be a part of the company’s prestigious Management Awareness Program.  

Truly passionate about motivating and managing teams toward a common goal and improving the bottom line in the process, Cheri has also served as President and Board Member for several non-profit organizations in the child-care industry. A Fairfield University graduate, Cheri is a lifelong Connecticut resident.

Office Manager Terri Smith, of Fairfield, comes to LaurelRock from the Fairfield County Community Foundation, where she was a Finance Associate. Terri earned a Bachelor of Science in Family Economics from the University of Connecticut, as well as an MBA in Accounting from the University of Bridgeport. As LaurelRock's Office Manager, Terri oversees the front office, and is often the face, and the voice, behind LaurelRock!

Kim's background and experience is very well rounded in this industry with a focus on admin. She spent two years at a Landscape Architecture firm handling their contract administration and small design work.

Since 2009, she has been at a nursery handling all of their administration functions, sourcing and purchasing plant material and gifts for their retail store, client contracts, vendors, subcontractors and general office work.

Kim is a graduate of F.I.T. with a degree in Buying and Merchandising.

With 20+ years of experience in office management and banking, Karen brings a wealth of experience to her position as Contract Administrator. Karen’s outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills make her a perfect addition to the LaurelRock Administrative Team.

Prior to joining LaurelRock, Karen spent 15 years at a landscape and design firm managing their administrative functions, resolving client and employee issues, screening job applicants, coordinating marketing and web site maintenance, and managing trade show events.

Karen is a graduate of Masuk High School in Monroe, Connecticut.

Marisol Rodriguez

Marisol brings 26 years of Human Resource experience to The LaurelRock Company. Her HR knowledge is expansive with a focus on benefits, compensation, work/life programs, and staffing. Marisol is passionate about promoting the company culture, which includes the “Making a Positive Difference” mission. 

Marisol is a graduate of Albertus Magnus College where she earned a B.S. in Liberal Arts. When she is not working, she is actively involved in donating her time to teaching, performing missionary work, as well as volunteering as chaplain in crisis situations while leading fundraising and event planning efforts within her church community. Marisol is bilingual in English and Spanish and translates (verbally and written) to those in need of her assistance.
